Hit RSK hoping to strike gold again this time with Chris and Kam. Brought my lawn chair with me and almost fell asleep a few times as I was running on fumes after only getting 8hrs of sleep in the last 2 days. I missed a for sure grinner bite early on. Darn thing knocked my rod out of the spike and totally shredded the mack head. Re-bait and didn't get another sniff until near peak high for a sub 40" bat then followed that up with a 50" class bat during the outgoing. Grunion made a slight showing and kelp was about, but tolerable. I did get a little cold.

The RSK made me chuckle. Nice work boss. It's crazy how the bigguns invade the surf every spring like clockwork.
Super nice UFO you got!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Chris

That second ray was a beast and got me good with wet sand all in my hair and even down my shirt lol.

Good fishing with you guys, maybe we can do it again soon.
Keep it tight

sasquatch

I feel you on the running on fumes. Hauled in salad Sunday night, one shark last night and getting ready to do it again tonight. Wednesday is going to be rough.

Nice bats, even though they weren't what you were looking for.
