Scanned a few old haunts we haven't tried in a while and conditions looked great.  We found a bar to get a few beers and a bite to eat before running down to the surf and hunting some sharks.

Conditions (salad) changed in those 3 hours and it was a bit weedier than what I saw at first, but very fishable.

Squatch and I were plagued with bass bites and bait thieves all night until I had the right kind hit.  The rod did a big shark wiggle and I grabbed the rod just as it was taking off!  Two tail smacks on the line and a big head shake and it was gone... UGH, but I was all hyped up and got another bait out.

Turns out that was the only real hit of the evening.  We finished up the baits and headed back home.

This morning at work is brutal.  I probably didn't fall asleep until 1:00am and my 4:00am alarm just seemed louder and more annoying then the other 4 work day mornings.

It's got to bust open soon!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

You got bit, that's encouraging.  I may have to rethink my putting the long rods away for a month, might make a run north in the next few days   ;)

I hit a spot last night based on some intel I received, got one sharky bite and that was it. At least this spot stays relatively deep during a low tide.

It is definitely gonna go off soon!!
