Steve and I decided to hit our Tuesday night trip in the rain.  We planned on hitting the beach we got the Soupie at, but it was loaded with sunken out kelp and grass, so we had to find another beach to fish.

I was first to strike with a smedium sized bat.

Steve followed up with a better one.

Basically we were getting slammed by bait thieves on every cast and not even the heads were coming back or there would just be Fred Flintstone bones when we reeled in.
We saw on the radar that a big cell was starting to roll through and called it quits so we didn't have to unpack in the rain.

Not what we were hoping for, but not bad considering we both avoided any skunks.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Much better night than I expected when I walked out of work. It was raining cats and dogs.

Wow! Was wondering if you guys made it out. Consistent!! With how slow things have been for me, I would've been ok with some medium sized bat rays.

As long as they're not biggies, my back is getting to old  :(
