We had to switch a Tues pm to a Wed pm fishing trip.  As I was scouting the beaches, I ran into Boz, the Mayor.  We chatted it up for a bit before I met up with Squatch at the bar to figure out a plan.
Most of the beaches looked good, but one spot looked really good except for the large field of beached purple death lying in a circle at the mid tide mark.  We decided to try there and hope the salad didn't move south onto us and just stayed north or where it was.

Conditions were good in the beginning and managed a nice bass.

Then about 2 hours into the soak, the purple cloud of kelp death rolled up on us and made fishing pretty bad.  Squatch made a few moves to get away from it, but it enveloped us and we called it quits a little early around 9:30.

We rolled the dice instead of fishing the super clean beach because this spot looked much fishier, but it wasn't in the cards tonight.
