I just got this tarpon 16 around January, it's well used but still in good shape overall. Needs a new front and side handle and probably just replace all the straps. I was slowly modifying it and turning it into an offshore rig but wasn't able to get out and test it fully loaded. Turns out I'm overweight. Me being 275lbs and adding gear isn't working out the best.

I don't have any pics to post (through imgr etc) but I can text some or you can check out my IG page , @little_blue_boat_adventures to see some.

Kayak, bed extender and I'll throw in a gaff for $350. I bought a brand new HD seat and paddle that I was planning on keeping for the next kayak but I'm not sure what or when that will be so for $100 more you can have those.

Would only recommend the max user weight to be around 225.

Well, I'm out.

She's fast and if you take minimal gear it would be ok. But having thick rope, a flying gaff, floats, 30lbs of Chum plus bait, water and food for 24 hours it gets weighed down. I went into a wave on the way out and it became a submarine for 15 seconds

Seeing as I'm pretty close to "Chris+30lbs of chum" already, that doesn't leave much room for gear.

Killer deal though, someone ought to jump on it.

It's a fast boat. I couldn't keep up with it in my Trident.

I forwarded this to a friend.  He might be interested.
