7/22 TP AM recon

Walked the southside this morning armed with morfs. Ankles frozen like it was January. Rod spikes spread a good 100 yards. Decent haul of spotfin for those guys using bait. Little to no structure. Only found one spot of micro crabs mixed in the many carpets of clam beds. Loose salad coming in with the rising tide. Was able to manage one nibble on the c-rig morf. Went to spot B to get rid of the stripe with a dink spotty.  :P

Hit tp a couple weeks ago. The bait guys were every ten yards for the whole beach. Weekend though.

Found some bigger crabs a little deeper under the clams.

How did I miss this?  Water got cold for sure, but it's warming up at least.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
