Still feeling out the neighborhood I'm in. Not hood but far from spotless. I think somebody stole my little bait cooler off the front porch, I've had that thing for over 10 years . So I feel most comfortable with my rods staying in my room. Was thinking about building myself a custom rack that would be efficient with space and hold rods horizontally and vertically, but I figured it would be easier to find a 24 rod rack and use these metal wall holders that I've had. The ceiling is 8' so the long rods are/will be put angled into the wall holders, while sub 7'6 rods are on the wood rack. Still need to move 5 more rods, which I'll grab when I get my outboard back and therefore bring my boating stuff down from Newbury Park.

Avet EX 50. Got it on ebay used for a deal. And the high gear got replaced from a 3(?) to a 4:1. Don't know when I'll use it but ain't no bluefin getting away from me with that.

Nice fishing corner!  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the new rack system.

..and that sucks about the bait cooler.  I realize that people will steal anything these days and for whatever reason....

Cooler situation is cleared up. Turns out the landlord's girlfriend thought the cooler was the landlord's and she trashed it, so while my family heirloom in the making is now gone forever, I'm relieved that it wasn't a porch pirate.
