With warm weather and small surf continuing to grace us with their presence, I met up with Ray and Joe at Rays spot.

I was first to arrive and had to wait for the families to thin out before I could set up. Once I did, Joe was next, with Ray not far behind.

Ray was first to get bit with a nice leopard, I don't have any decent pics but it taped out at 57". A respectable fish.

We chat for a few minutes and Ray goes sprinting towards his rod. Bit again. This time a smallish seven gill, maybe 5 1/2 feet.

After much more waiting, my rod finally goes off and I land a nice leopard of my own.

By this time it was time to go. Better luck next time Joe, hope you get your target soon.

I'll be damned.  Back to back Seven's and a few legit Lepo's!

Bravo guys, bravo!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Yeah, it was definitely a fun night. As far as the fight on rod and reel goes, I finally got to compare that a Leo and 7 of just about equal size, is quite different, and that a leo will take the cake, unless they are out of the water, then the 7 takes it...All in all fun, and can't wait to hit the water next time...hopefully if Joe comes to the sand again, it'll be his turn

Nice work guys! Surf looked good as I was driving back south yesterday. Gonna give it a shot tomorrow morning with Joe, hopefully get a shot at something with some teeth on it.
