The Cyclops lost it's Virginity today ;D  Tom should be proud, It took a while but I made sure her first time was gentle ;D ;D ;D I saw a good forecast and made the call to go for it. Hit South Shores at 6:30 am and headed out to the Big Pond. Took a right and headed for The Jewel and found some players but they were all pretty small........Didn't matter cause the whole experience was a great learning curve ;) The weather was overcast but very calm water and no wind to speak of. Learned more about my boat and got a confidence boost :) 8) Myles and I had a blast, Max contributed to the Chum Duties :o ;D ;D I will let the pics tell the story, next trip hopefully has a better quality fish count but for now I am glad to have had a nice first open water trip 8) 8)

Loaded up and ready to roll

Found a rock Pile and they began to nibble

Meanwhile, Grand Master Chum was hard at work ;D ;D

Found another rock pile, Myles goes Bendo 8)

I tried to keep up

It's been a while since I've seen La Jolla from this angle 8)

Put about 30 miles on the motor today, it was beautiful

Hope to have more success next trip :)

Awesome, good to see a report from you on the open water.  Bummer about the kid getting sick, hope he gets through it.

Congrats Tim!  Super happy to see you and the boys playing with the fishes in La Jolla!  You were only 4 or 5 miles east of tuna madness, but what a way to get the boat broken in right.  The patch will help with any chumming duties as the pill will just make him tired.

You'll be getting yellows and tuna in there in no time!

Congrats again!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
