Wanted a repeat of yesterday.

More abridged trip. 1445 to 1645. Tide level was technically the same but a little bigger break on the outside seemed to present totally differently. Still nice weather. A little more kelp and grass.

Got the skunk off quick but not as many bites.

Picked off one more but otherwise struggled.

The gulls kept pushing into my air space and I pretty much shot my rig between this one's feet mid-flight. Oopsy. A couple loops of braid around its foot, no biggy.

30 minutes later another one! Some college kids were filming me untangle it from afar, we'll see the spin on that in the morning I suppose.

I could have slowed the line coming off the spool to get the line below the birds, but I admit, I was feeling particularly entitled to my air space this afternoon. They both flew off without any line on them and unscathed.

On my way home I stopped at Amazon Fresh for the week's groceries and scored 2 16lb turkeys at $7 each! More birds!

Turkey Sandwiches are always a good Scooby Snack while fishing, good score on that deal 8)  8)
