The first leg of my morning was to do some cliff picking for old bugs.  I get there around first light and conditions have deteriorated.  Road construction was messing up my parking a bit, but I was still hopeful.

First 30 minutes and I only found two fossil crabs.

Next 45 minutes I found a wide-open bug hunting!  Big ones also so I'm going to definitely prep some of them this winter to see what I really have going!

Some of them are in super shape.  I really need to spend some time removing the matrix!



Off to Phase 2 of my morning.  Plan was to get myself a bass or butt!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
