Got on the water at the usual spot  at about 7. Lots of weeds on the beach, but after a test cast we decided that it was fishable. Just at the peek of high tide, Blitz's pole goes off which resulted in this 52" bat ray.


He got his first fish on his new conventional unfortunately I wore the stripe and didn't get mine. After the tide started going out we got no bites. The tides look good next weekend for another try at a shark. Tight lines.

Seriously, you guys are on consistent big surf bats likes no ones business!  You might be our ace in the hole when the Saturday Night Bay Fight IX comes around!
