What does anyone use for unhooking feisty grinners? Regular removal tools or something else.

Working a circle hook loose is always a bit of a challenge couple that with teeth, waves, and attitude and it would be worse.

We usually just use pliers and hold the head, but it does get sketchy at times.  I do have a big Arc De-hooker tool that I could bring with me, but usually don't.  It would do the trick for what you are asking for.

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

I just catch the fish. Then it's the sand hands problem. If I'm solo I use pliers.
