Went surf fishing yesterday to find out if the bonies are running close to the beach.  Brought my light tackle and started casting jig.  After a few casts, I hooked up to a nice bonito.  Awesome!

No idea where you're fishing, but the mackerel are starting to show up here in LA county off the beach.  Hopefully the bones will follow shortly  8)
