Honestly, I hate the summertime when fishing is concerned, especially when big game fishing the surf.  Lots of fish around, but even twice the number of tourists and Gooligans out on the water.  I know it's tough to fish in seclusion in the SoCal bight, but when it happens... it's golden.

Spring I guess .. and fall ... but can't pick two ... :(

If it's warm, there's too many people. If it's cold, no people and no fish :'(
Anybody have an emergency beer?

I can't stand the summer crowds or the heat, so winter is my favorite.

I think I like the fall the best, but the winter is just splitting hairs with the fall, but the solitude of winter is so nice!

I like winter since it gets all the idiots off the beach.

Well I did great this spring, so I'm gonna go with spring

I like the very early spring, say late Mar thru the middle of May.  Fishing is picking up but the people aren't being stupid yet.  Verne
