Plans were to just make a few loops in the speed zone of MB to see how my motor fixes went.  After two laps, I needed something better to test it with, so I headed out front.  Not too soon later the motor sputtered and went back to a crawl.  GRRRR!!!!!!!

I was about to head home after getting out before grey light, but decided to call Vessel Assist if need be as I wanted to make this trip worth it.  I caught at least 4 dozen Spanish Mack in no time.  The kelp is full of them right now!

I started throwing the iron when I saw a few BIG yellows chasing the iron, but not committing.  I then was preparing to toss out the flylined mack when I saw some deep marks on definitive yellows or WSB.  I attached a weight really fast and dropped down to actually see the bite on the sonar even before I felt it!  BAM!!!

Beautiful long fight ensued and I brought this toad up to gaff!

I kept seeing balls of bait and fish off the bottom and was perplexed as they were not hitting the iron.  I made a dropper loop and the carnage began!

Every drop had a lingcod... or one that let go half way up!

The small legals were still legal.

Taking weird shots as I just wanted to drop again as it was instantaneous hook ups!

I burned through 30 Spanish macks just on Lingcod....

Lost count of fish, but here was my Biggy of the day!

My Remote button lost power, so I had to use the phone after a while.  Those Lings were THICK!

Great day on the water even though I wanted to put some 00 Buck Shot into the motor for crapping out on me.  No matter, I'm bringing home 34+ pounds of meat home tonight!  Until then, the Boma is out of commission until I get her fixed.

I think I've said that a few times already...  ;D

Until next tide!

LOL, I thought I fixed the problem and needed to test it out.  I figured LJ was my next test after taking it just out front on Friday.  I'm running out of ideas on the motor....
