Since this is my only day off in 12 days, I worked my butt off on the boat to try and get things squared away.  I picked up a 70HP Johnson from a mechanic which is like for like with the motor I have now.  I got a good deal and it will give me time to fix and work on my other motor.

It took some doing, but I managed to get all the motors switched out without breaking my back.

Soon as I got the motor running good, I had to take care of the trailer issue.  The U-bolt start to torque because of some strange reason I can't tighten them enough to keep the boats weight from shifting the bunk.  The boat would not ride right on the trailer and it has been bugging the hell out of me.
I gave it look.

And went in for the repair.  It worked great today!

I'll post the Boma's return to the sea trip on the Boat Board.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
