My boss chartered the Long Run Sportfishing boat out this weekend and it sounded like a nightmare!  The cost was full price, but there was a tiny bait well and no bait to be bought.  The captain answered a Craig'sList ad to take them out.  They were using chains on the lines as makeshift down riggers.  They had to bring all of their own ice for the boat and their catch and they quit offshore fishing to catch macks by the kelp...  Basically, they said it was the most unprofessional set up they ever seen.

I have no knowledge of this operation, but from what I am hearing, I would stay the hell away.  I think I've seen this operation on those daily groupon ads before which leads me to realize that is what it is... a paying trip for a boat ride.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
