Sweet sesh and intro to bay fishing!! The bar has been set pretty high! "Eating" crabs for bait?!! Pshhh! Next time drop, them off at my house and I'll give you some squish and macks. Seems like a waste to me...

Given that the prime mac catching hours I'm working I need an alternative to making bait. Every trip to make bait has been a bust this year. That is why I get John's bycatch from his trips.

Besides I wanted to see how good those crabs were and it made a good excuse to check them out. $6 for 18 baits isn't bad. Taking the rest out tonight and tossing them.

Hell if I could find them cheap I'd use big clams since bats feed on those.
