Surf finally tamed down, so took my first opportunity Monday night to hit a spot in NLA that usually will produce if conditions are right and the bats are near. Soaked squish and mack from 7-11pm in 1-2 ft surf , no salad, slight breeze, on the incoming 10:40pm high with full moon overhead...Conditions right, but nothing that wanted to fit my 8/0 in its mouth around, just bait peckers and theives. And so we wait....Side note: The week of heavy surf seems to have piled the sand back up high on the beaches that had been taken down to the cobblestones a couple months back.
