I'm a firm believer in saving your money and buying what you really want.

Ha! ... pick yourself up a couple kids, then add college savings and retirement funding. You'll quickly find yourself in the 'get what you can, when you can' category, and those windows come and go. LOL ... and I feel guilty spoiling myself with expensive treats.

Except yummy booze .. 

Guess I've had a few bottles of surf rods these past few weeks.

Oops, re-read your post! Saw 6' under as 6yrs old and under. Lol!!! I just have the twin 5yr old terrors and the 5mo old. I'm not sure who has it worse though...

Kids and a wife are easy, picking the right fishing gear is harder. Well, I'm down to fishing 3 to 4 times a week now, so maybe you're right Mike. Lol
