Messed up my phones camera first of all. So obviously no pics.  Had a solo session at the casino from 7 till 9:45. Fished 2 rods, 1 was my carp rod with 20# braid and a battle 5000, and the other was my usual heaver.
Soaked mack chunks on the light rod and left the heaver out till 8. First cast nailed a baby leo.
At this time surfers were pretty much leaving, with the exception of 2 who arrived late and decide were I'm fishing is the best spot on the beach. Took 1 good clothesline on my heavy rod and some bitching on there end before they relocated.
As I'm retrieving the light rod,  I get slammed, to sum it up it took me up and down beach nearly spooling me on 1 occasion before workin it till the skinny. 52" bat on the carp rod.
Next the heaver gets hit. 20" sandy, at this time I realized I left my pliers in my light tackle bag  and this bass chocked the 12/0. So he came home for the bro.
Followed up with a small calico, a yfc and a -1 and I was good to go.

Good to see you out fishing again, Ray!  It's almost at the impossible time of year to fish before sunset.  Need more sharks for better surfer population control I guess.  :o ;D
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

If I'm there first, they can pound sand. D bags sometimes get in right in front of you. I hate summertime in the day.

That's a nice variety for a short sesh.... 52" bat on 20# braid & carp rod, thats a +2 in my book...Did that 20" sandie have like a 10" head on it? The males get funky looking when they get that big I've noticed.

I was hoping it was a small bsb just by how much line it burned off and the occasional wing beats I assumed were headshakes, it was a beotch. Up and down the beach, definitely took a cig break after lol
