Today was a sick day since my boy and I have been dealing with the stomach flu for the past 2 days. Of course we're well enough to hit OB pier.

Was hoping we'd run into some mackerel, but today wasn't the day. We did get well over 20 baby leopard sharks in less than 2hrs of fishing. Lol!! My kid loved it and I loved that!also scored a bonus queenfish, a "tell me what I caught fish", and a big ol smelt.

As that Blenny goes, I'm not sure what species that is as there is almost 1,000 of them.  I'll have to investigate.

Lol! I fished last night, north county. Lost 2 rigs to 2 different holdfasts... awesome. Lots of critter bites. Mack heads came back hollowed out. No runs. But, it was nice to get out.
