Is there a contest for smallest shark too? If so, I'd like to submit an entry ...  :P :P :P

How about for the least amount of sharks caught? Just send me my prize pack now!

You're in the running with Josh ..  :P :P :P

I might just crown him now!  lol

Bite me! I got my smoothie last night B)

I call BS without pics.

Hahahaha!!!!

Well, it looks like a few 99 inch models are in the lead!  You must measure and/or have a witness there to be qualified and top fish will go up at the end of the contest for you to vote on.  I'm still working on prizes through donations from a company or two, so be honest and make those pics count.

Remember, Guesses are usually far off from the actual length and this contest is specific.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

I'm really hoping we see a 10 footer this summer!

Fish Jerk

Lol I'm still bummed my 107 was caught the week before the contest started and that it was 1 in shy of 9ft.

9.5' seems the upper end for 7 gills.
Hammers would be the most likely.

Not that I have heard but there was a pic of once cruising the breakers in HB. They love to eat rays so when the sand is full of them it is possible.

Fish Jerk

I heard of one supposedly caught last year at Topanga beach. Supposedly on a Mac that was taken out by a surfer. I haven't seen any pics of it, so take it with a grain of salt.

LONGCAST JOE

Bump...almost forgot we're in the midst of this, it's not over yet, but at this point I'd be happy to catch one to beat out WheresMyBeer for the smallest

WheresMyBeer

Looks good up here too.
I'm heading out tonight to drag the winning grinner up on the sand  ;)

Only caught one shark this year.

A 18 inch Leo I snagged in the back with a krocodile 2 weeks ago.
