2 trips, 3 strikes no fish to show

Went with Binh and Mike. Last trip I lost a crapload of hardware with nada but 2 solid hits that broke off. Tonight a knot failure on one rod and a bat ray break off after tangling in Mike's line and I'm down more gear.

Would have been the first surf Ray if it didn't spool me. It was not looking good.

Need  to order more sputniks.

We hate Binh right now.

I packed out at 11. I don't know how long they stayed. Mike had a lot of bait to use.

Your horse has left me in the dust!! Fresh macks is absolutely the key! I pinned one of his baits on and was rewarded with a vicious take down. Of course I missed it as I was talking to Binh next to his gear.
