I went down to MB this morning fairly late as my usual standards go in order to fish.  9:30 am is really late, but my buddy Dave wanted to meet up and we had some gear transfers that we have been meaning to exchange for some time now.

Mission Bay was a mob scene at that time.  Some event had almost all parking taken up, but I managed a spot and found Dave in the chaos.  I put myself in the "Summer-time" state of mind and try not to let all the tourists swimming in my bass casted lines get to me.

Ironically, fishing was pretty good.  We put 7 bass on the beach and lost just as many more.  We also saw a free jumping halibut and possibly some scooter cuda!  It turned out not so bad, except that Dave beat me by one bass and had the JP.  I'm going to hear about this one for a while.  I can feel it! lol

Water was clean and salad free for the most part.  Not a crab to be seen in the front bay.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Good session. All the crabs are probably in the back bay still eating my bait from last weekend.
