Perseids meteor shower 8/11 and 8/12

Good show this time of year. If you happen to be up past midnight ...

Last time this had a Jupiter influence the counts were hundreds per hour. Literally seemed like a flash every second (2004). Not usually known for the big bright bolides ... but more for the volume of debris.
