Think I'm starting to feel the effects of pain due to age.

32 now.

Wrist still hurts from casting surface irons constantly about a month in a half ago.

Shoulder and ankle hurt for I have no idea why.

Left side of the hip hurts when I bend down.

Played physical sports most my life, was a body builder and now just work lifting heavy materials at times.

Seems like  I used to recuperate a lot faster before and the pain/soreness didn't linger on like this.

Should have mentioned this isn't muscle soreness

Wait til you hit your 40s!

Yep. You will remember this as the good old days when some parts felt fine.

LOL, sorry about that Eric.  I am a wreck these days and my body is making me pay for all of the years of abuse.

Standard issue.  Only gets worse in the 40's.  I'll probably be driving a "Rascal" with rod holders in my 50's.   ;D
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Oh yeah... Daily Ibuprophen helps.

Getting old isn't all it is cracked up to be. My knees are starting to act up after a long day. In your 30's it will begin where you don't heal as quick and as the years pile on your recovery time gets longer.

Years are not kind to any of us.

Hahaha ... to be Eric's age again and 'just feeling' these signs ...  :P :P

My arthritis decided to kick in full force last weekend and I've been laid up all week barely able to walk. It's an ankle I've broken 3 times - so expected. I'm only 45 Eric .. it gets better  :P :P :P

BackBayMan

At 59 and staring down the big 60, let me assure you it only gets worse.

Have a couple of beers and suck it up buttercup.

;D

Anybody have an emergency beer?

I can relate to this thread, and I'm only 31.

Hit by a car when I was 20, middle of my back still goes out of wack every so often.

Broke my L5-S1 disc in half when I was 24 and had one of the two halves removed when I was 25.  I wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy.  Couldn't walk for a month before and after the surgery (sciatica), right leg circumference ended up 4 inches less than left leg, got addicted to opiates, transitioned to alcohol and eventually dropped out of grad school, and lower back still randomly relapses every 6 months or so no matter how careful I am with it.  Guess those discs are important.

Right wrist hurts off and on.  I think it's a combination of a computer job + smart phone + fishing.

And then that silly catfish spine traversing through my leg, haha.  That one has actually been kind of fun.

Hoping for an injury free next 30 years!
