So take Kitty out to the big blu... well green and had a goal spot out there about 4.5 miles out. All told today was a 14.5 mile trip. Used 10 lbs of gas so 1.5 gallons on the day.  ;D

Anyhow tried to make bait but nothing was cooperating. Planned on doing some rock cod drops but the wind swells kicked up and overcame my dramamine. I couldn't stand up for long without getting shook off balance. Too bouncy to re rig rods.

Headed back in and tried again where there was a swarm of bait. It looked like a cloud on the sonar. So had a bottom rig off the back and dropped a sabiki and came up full in a blink. Dropped again and they tangled the rear rod beyond hope.  >:(

Took a long time to untangle and just cut it off. Had another one but they had moved on.

Nothing happening on bottom drops but tossed lots of old ass bait in the sea.

Ended up with 4 nice green backs. Could have filled up but no, rig got jacked up.  >:(

Sat in a pod of feeding dolphins and birds tossing Irons for naught. If I had live macs things macs have been different.

Gonna use Bonine next time.

That's life on the Big Blue.  I love seeing the reports though as I can't wait for you to cath the "Saltwater Catfish" buzz when a big yellow or halibut hits the "Kitty's" deck!

Thanks for posting Jim.  I', hoping to get out there soon, but life is getting in the way.  Time to buddy boat.   8)
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Once the season picks up we will have to make a dual trip.  8)

Spent time today updating the FF software and sorting out what transducer I had to pick. Didn't have the right one chosen so the water temp and bottom structure scan didn't work. Got all that sorted out.

Working on customizing the "dashboard displays" to show what I want. The manuals are not all that great that come with it.
