Steve's out of town and I'm still thinking about heading out to the surf tonight.  I'm not 100% sure yet if I can make it, but kind of want to see who is Shark-een tonight.  8)

Wish I could come down and fish with you Tom!
One day I will make it down there.

Chris

Wish I'd have checked this last night.

We should do a group session next week.

Looks like a solo adventure. I better pack my tail rope.

You don't need no stinking tail rope when solo. Man up and double fist that shark tail.
;D

I thought today was Wednesday and yesterday was Tuesday... ::)

I used the tail rope tonight. It did little more than keep him from slithering away.

I somehow didn't see this post. On the tail rope thing, Binh and I tried one last week and it was a bust for us. Maybe we're doing it wrong?? How are you guys doing it?

I picked a couple tow ropes like this up at the 99 cent store for $1.99 a piece. Only have got to use it once but I was surprised how much easier it made a solo beaching.  You don't have to worry about the whole loop and knot thing because you can just click the rope onto itself with the hook part using one hand while it's around the tail already and you got your sliding loop. I could put all my weight into dragging the shark onto the sand and I could see the base of the sharks tail wasn't being strained when doing so.

For a buck 99.... totally worth trying it.
