80lb rub leader wasn't enough tonight.

I started typing the above at 9:30pm after getting my ass handed to me then my rod gets absolutely crushed! I had no idea my rod could bend that much without snapping in 2!

Just tied on my 4th rig and I'm on my back up reel as little SM got spooled. I'm seriously outgunned tonight. These were not 7gills or soupfins that just slapped me around. Every single hit was a drag screaming run with ultra violent head shakes and then my line goes limp.

I've bumped up to 100# rub the last year or so since 80# was failing me at times.  You could have done some damage on the Leader Board, but now only slightly closer.

I'm going to try and get out tonight, but it is looking like  slim chances.
