Back on the Sand 5/30/17

 Drove back down from my folks in the morning. Glad to be back home.

Of course it is Tuesday so I head out to meet Tom for a much needed surf trip.

Hit the evenings location and got set up. Little bit of weeds, but big chunks, so not too big a deal.

Changed out a bunch of baits, had some good conversation, and downed a couple beers. Pretty good night.

Josh showed up and was kind enough to capture all the weeds so we could fish.

Mike showed up, but set up right near the access, a ways away from the group.

Not really any action, Tom and I decided to call it, and I get a screamer. Long straight pull. Knew it was a bat right off. Still good to get bit.

 

Figure Mike or Josh got one after we left. Just the way it is sometimes.

Good seein you steve, Mike kept his streak goin last night, probably technically this mornin lol, got some action, got to see and wrangle a grinner, that's half the fun, work on the other half on Thursday with willis!

Good fishing with you guys.  I'm glad you got the skunk buster and that I didn't accidentally get crushed in that stupid accident where the kid tried jumping the cliff.

I got a text from Dave that reports must be up by noon in order for the shark list should count.  That means someone is stuck on 12.  LOL

If that is retroactive it is going to cause a bunch of problems. Better just delete Dave's text and move on.
