Late comer as usual. Weird car accident scene walking to the spot. Some seductive Shelter Island mack in the water by 9:15pm. Critters were on it instantly. Went through a few baits and knew it was only a matter of time as the this location has been hot!

I sat and listened intently as Josh regaled me with stories of jet skiing Barret and how flimsy my hooks were and how can I possibly catch anything. Lol!! Jk Josh. Or am I? I finally get a solid thump and the tell tale slack line. Hop to my feet and quickly reel in the slack with the Little Engine. No spooling tonight! It was a solid fight, but my sand hand was more than ready!
