Actually most was SD river carp.

Went way east to a location by Gordons Well and damnit you need a special permit.  >:(

Headed back west to a striper hot spot and although shad out the wazoo were schooling. It was 110 and hours before sunset when it may have gone off. Got a small flathead to kick things off. Wind kicked up like a mofo and the canal had small whitecaps.

Heading back west checked several spots for accessibility. Many were fenced off or the bank too steep.

Drove back the the East highline and chummed with my carp head but nothing biting except a turtle who was trying to haul it away.

Headed back to the small canal that had the feisty little cat from a few weeks ago. That is where the 3 lb class were hanging out. Got 2 in the location then headed to the headwater of it and scored 4 more.

Was 11:30 and the chest was basically full. Headed home and had to clean them up.

I need a better fillet station.  :(

Probably a softshell. Seen several out there, caught a couple.
