I have been stung 100's of times by bees and barely a reaction.  Not any more.  f@cking arm blew up like a balloon on Wednesday and even after a maximum dose of injectable steroid, oral steroid, steroid cream.. antibiotics... nothing really working.  Just like that, I'm now a subject to extreme reactions to bee stings.  Old age I guess.
I guess I'll be just sitting in a chair all weekend waiting for my arm to get back to normal. Unfortunately this is my camping weekend, so I'll just have to be chill.

f@cking Bees.....
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Sorry Tom, that sucks!
I used to have little to no reaction to bee stings when I was young.  In high school it started getting worse.  Once time they almost had to cut my leg to relieve the pressure and I'm supposed to carry an epi pen now.
Weird thing is, it only seems to be honey bees.  Yellow jackets don't bother me.
Sucks though, heal quick!

If you can still drink with your other arm, you should be fine for camping.

I talked to a woman at the grocery store the other day.

She was icing her majorly swolen hand and arm.

She said she was stung by mosquito. (maybe it was actually a bee)

She never had reactions like that in the past, just this current sting.

It only took 5 days, but my arm is almost normal again.  Still a lot of pain from all the swelling but on the mend.  It looks like I'll have to be carrying an epi-pen with me for now on. ...  sigh....

Yeah, that stuff is no joke.  Crazy the kind of affect it can have.
Glad you're getting over it so you can get back to fishing!  8)

Had a bad fever last night and an achy arm.  I'm starting to think that bee was feeding at a nuclear plant or something before stinging me!  lol

This was on Thursday...  Not super bad, but pretty gross.  I didn't bother taking pics of the arm on Friday or Saturday when it was downright gross.

Which one is the ugly one?

Wanted to see it when it was gross

I have an EpiPen.
My friend gave it to me as he was dying.
It seemed very important to him that I have it...
