Dave and I planned on hitting Jennings since they just got their holiday plant.  We expected it to be really busy, but to our surprise, there were very few people out there.

Plenty of room to pick a spot and anchor up, so I metered some and we dropped the hook.

I had my GoPro all set up on the VHF antennae and couldn't wait to use it.  The remote was in my pocket and I was ready to get some film down.

In no time I was on... a decent 2 pounder.

I thought I was taking video after video of every time we hooked up....~sigh~.... I must have hit the mode button and switched it off of the video and on the camera.  :-[
It sucks too because I got fish after fish and poor Dave couldn't even get bit!
Pictorial review of my "Not So" movies.

Another one on and a bigger model!

Another fish... first 4 were all power bait fish.

First worm fish!

Got my limit and Dave immediately poached my hole.

Dave was wondering what side of the toilet he was fishing.

Dave's on! (bastard hooked it on the 2# which was a sure sign of a lost fish)  ;D

Got it next to the boat and just before we could net it, it spit the hook and swam off.  A nice 3# fish.

Now Dave was getting testy as I said I was going to hand off my next fish to him.  I just started throwing the plugs and irons as I was all done for the morning and hooked a few more fish which all threw the hooks.  I was trying to Bill Dance them and was just having fun at this point when Dave finally gets on the board!

The sun came up and the bite went to nothing, so we packed it in. Dave represented.

Dave liked watching the fish finder as we made our way back.  We passed some nice schools of trout, bait balls and what was probably some deep water cats in 133 feet of water!

Weighed in my limit at just a smidge under 10 pounds.  Fun morning to be out there and even better having the lake to ourselves!

Happy Holidays and get out fishing!  Let's see your catch!

I always wonder why Dave likes trout fishing so much. Seems like you always out fish him and make him mad.

Beautiful fish you got there. At least Dave got in some casting practice lol

My neighbor saw this and told me he saw my ugly mug on Jennings FB page.  He was right.  :o

I'll take 3 on the Boma for trout.  That's easy fishing.  8)
