Bait Stealers are out in Force! (7/25)

It looks like my circle hook experiment will be taking a hiatus here soon as all I'm doing is missing those bait stealers.

Steve and I hit the surf to epic conditions.  Weeds on the beach, but the water was clean.  Small surf 1-2 feet and warm ass water!!!  The water temps were 74 degrees!

We fished until 10:30 and Steve wrangled up a nice sand bass.  Otherwise our baits were eaten to the bone within 15 minutes.  No bigger bites, but it sure does feel like Hammer-Time with all of that warm water!  Now it's just time to catch one!!!

Keep on chugging away.  Sooner or later someone will catch an exotic in this warm ass water!

There's a butt load of YFC out too! Wold be nice to get an exotic, but I just don't feel it happening unless we get a huge influx of bait in the surf line.

You guys will be back on them again soon! Big surf coming for the weekend?? I hope to get at least Saturday morning in, before the big waves roll in.
