So it's Friday in August and time to plan tomorrow's trip. Big pond is out. Crowds. Surf. Salad.

But what the heck, we've caught 3 47" plus bats and a 58" tractor in the last 4 weeks in the middle of the day in the bay. I'd love to hit the big pond, but it's messed up and such a hassle this time of year. So we'll forget what the charts look like, hit the bay with umbrellas and beer and chill.

No black sea bass, but we'll have a good time if anybody wants to hook up 8)
Anybody have an emergency beer?

I've had good luck in the back bay last year in June thru the middle of August. I better make it back there soon.
