Tough night

Hit up MB with Binh and my buddy for a little bait n wait. Squid and mack were the baits. I was ready to pull an all nighter, but the wife complainedoc back in several texts to me... ugh... had to call it early 😩

Managed a spunky spottie on whole squid and an 11/0 hook. Ambitious.

The guys decided to make a move, I hope they did better.

I'm due. My time on the sand has rarely coincided with good tides. I'm either fishing peak lows or peak highs. My timing is way off, but I'll get one soon! I'm at least putting in the time.

Steve went months without a fish which earned him a trophy.  You are due, just tough fishing for some reason lately on the set fishing.  Back bay, front bay, middle bay have all been slow.

Fish are probably still getting used to the new chemicals in their environment from the drought and then the recent rains  . Should pick up soon, it's been super slow long rodding up north for us as well. I did manage a 52" bat yesterday, but that is the first decent fish I've seen in about four 8 hour sesssions

Yeah, fishing is just in a bit of slump lately, but I give it till february and it'll probably pick up
