Conditions were perfect.  No surf and the only salad was on the beach or in the skinny.  The sunset was epic also!

I burned through all of my bait last night as EVERY SINGLE CAST got bit.  It was all baby bass, eels, lobster and baby leopard sharks.  Squatch saw them swimming in the skinny with the glowing green eyes.

We both had a real bite with a big rod bounce, but neither turned into anything.  I almost believe the bait stealers were so numerous, they were c*ck blocking the real sharks to our baits!  :o

Anyway, I didn't get any eel shots, but finally I took a picture for posterity.

It was an action filled night for sure, but we were just thankful to be able to soak baits without the burden of huge kelp monsters.

Thanks for reading.

The skinny yesterday was full of baby leos where we were also, bundled in groups of 8 or 10.  Some in only 6" of water.  Maybe they were staying safe from whatever was breaking our lines   ;D

Anybody have an emergency beer?

Glad to hear the salad was not a big issue. I can deal with bait thieves but the monster kelp is a pain in the A$$. Going to hit the surf again this week, hopefully we find someone home.  ;) Mike is already making room in his garage for his new rod. ;)

I so wanted to see his hopes dashed with a giant sevengill last night, but it's starting to look like he's ready to cross the finish line!  lol

I might get one more shot next week, but the way things have been up here, I'm not getting my hopes up  :(

You might have earned the first PS DS points, ever.... Lol

Seriously though, Mike appears to be the possible 2017, Prehistoric Soul MVP!

It ain't over yet. Verne gets a good knot on his rigs and it may be heading north.

I may hit another "unfinished business" beach Saturday night.
