Well, it was a pretty solid day as artificial lures go from the boat.  I went out with my buddies Roger and Dave and we only had a small window in the morning to see if we could get ourselves onto a good bass bite. My back up plan was to see where the dredge has been digging and check it all out on the fish finder so I have a clue what's happening and if it would effect the Bat Fight or not.

Nice morning.

Bite was pretty steady for Dave and I,  I'm still in shock of the amount of swings and misses we had.  Roger stuck with his old school Kalins even though the bass were hitting the MC swimmy 3x as well.  Roger has his favorite lures and sticks with them.

Dave with one of his 15 or so bass.  He wasn't the Hi-Stick, but had the Jack pot fish.

Roger only picked up 9.

I picked up over 20, although most of mine were pretty smallish stuff.  I think all of our bass probably averaged 10" between all of 'em.

I cruised around the bay to see that they totally ruined a good bat ray spot!  Total giant island and all roped off!!! WTF!?!?

Anyway, it was a solid day and good times were had.

Thanks for reading and until the next tide.
