Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda

Shoulda=  not missed three hits
Coulda=  caught three more
Woulda=  climbed the ladder a few more notches

Hit the sand around 3:30 to moderate surf and almost no grass.  Wind was around 15 mph and didn't lay down until around 7:00, but all in all good conditions.  I had my first one on for maybe 30 seconds before it dropped off.  Second one slammed it and on it's first run got me into the rocks.  Felt that all too familiar "ping", only to find about 20 yards of my braid gone.  I was relieved to see it wan't a knot failure (thanks again Steve). The third one hit it while I was setting my rod back in the holder, bait hadn't been in the water 30 seconds.  From that point on neither one of us could buy another bite, the tide pushed us off the beach at 8:00.  I hope this isn't the start of another run of me thinking "I SUCK"

No, it's not you thinking "I Suck" again.  It's more coming back down to reality after that super hot string of catches you and the kids have been on!  LOL
You are on fire and the fish gods have to throw you a curve ball every now and then.  I've been having a hell of a time catching any sharks this year.

Don't know Steve, I was telling "D" last night "I'm not sure what is worse.  Not getting bit or getting bit multiple times and missing them all".  I guess it kinda sucks either way
