Gonna give this a test drive.

Could fit a whole trip worth of chunked bait or several frozen 2-3 bait macs. Wide enough to reach in through the opening with your whole hand.

Got catfish bait in the freezer for tomorrow and will give this a whirl. Supposedly holds ice 3 days so should keep bait fresh all night.
The IV bait is a bit of a struggle constantly opening the chest but this should fill that niche. Even using coolers loading bait in the morning for a night trip is a PITA on a work week.

I like my cooler, doubles as a seat.

So loaded it with frozen bait about 5am, got to Jennings and went to bait up about 8. Stuff hadn't changed a bit.

Excellent to know it worked Jim!  Thanks for the update.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Next test will be loading it with chunked bait to see how it holds up. Got some really small blue ice packs that can fit on top of the bait.

Seafood City has "baby bonito" which is what they call bullet tuna in 2 lb pre packs from Vietnam about 3 to 4 in a bag. Hopefully fresher than the thawed stuff they have on ice.

Apparently a new item with their brand on it. We buy them to keep sales up they will hopefully continue to carry them. So y'all bait up.

Too fancy for me. I actually want my bait to thaw out so I can fish with it. My sessions aren't long enough to need that much insulation.  :o

Very true Binh but come on macs and bonito have to be semi frozen to stay on the hook when whipping them out. Ya can always lay a chunk or 2 out to thaw.
