Shoveling My Way for Summer Species (6/26)

Met Squatch at 8:00 to maybe get on our last surf sharks of the summer.  Steve got accosted by a "Spicoli" wanna-be saying it was a surfing beach and fishing was illegal here.  After a few words back and forth, Steve sent him to the Ranger to go educate himself.  It's not going to get any easier from this point out until after Labor Day.

Lot's a bait stealers.  Mostly the "Gumming" sort of bites and usually turned out to be a surf tractor.



Stayed out until 11:15 and called it the night.  Oh well, I guess it's back to the boat time.

I don't mind waiting my turn while the surfers have fun. Just didn't expect the board change and paddle over my line. The no fishing lecture was a fun bonus.
