I just heard from my surfer buddies that they saw big sharks swimming their reefs in northern-north county.
They couldn't or wouldn't elaborate, but just a heads up for those who check the boards and live up that way.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Cardiff had clean cool water with minimal salad at low tide, but got weedier as the tide came in.  The bummer was the surf started picking up to sets better than 4' at times.
