Hey guys, it's been a while!  Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone.  Thought I'd share an update with some of the new fish I've caught this year.

Largescale Sucker (Idaho)

Chiselmouth (Idaho)

Northern Pikeminnow (Idaho)

Columbia Sculpin (Idaho)

Utah Chub (Idaho)

Redside Shiner (Idaho)

California Killifish (Rose Inlet)

Grey Smoothhound (Harbor Island)

Mozambique Tilapia (Los Angeles)

Owens Sucker (Owens River)

Sacramento Perch (Crowley Lake)

Lahontan Cutthroat Trout (Mammoth Lakes)

Blacksmith (Mission Bay)

Pacific Sardine (Imperial Beach Pier)

Fantail Sole (La Jolla)

Blue Rockfish (La Jolla)

Rosy Rockfish (La Jolla)

Starry Rockfish (La Jolla)

Zebra Perch (Ocean Beach)

Longjaw Mudsucker (Rose Creek)

Florida Largemouth Bass (Lake Murray) - up for debate whether it's a separate species or subspecies

I probably won't fish much more this year, but I have plenty of plans in the works for 2019.  There's still plenty of weird fish out there to look for. :)

Quite impressive list of new critters... well except the smooth hound.  LOL

Man, I was catching some pretty big Pike Minnows up in Western Montana (Near Idaho)...  I'm talking like 18-20 inches.  Did you get any mountain whitefish while you were there??
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Lol, thanks. Glad there aren't any easy sharks or rays that I'm missing now.  Still a lot to try for though, such as diamond ray, horn shark, swell shark, angel shark, mako, and thresher.

I didn't unfortunately. Tried drifting a beadhead nymph for them in Idaho but no luck.  Also tried for them in the East Walker River south of Lake Tahoe back in June.
