I really didn't have the coin to drop, but I didn't have enough for a new outboard, so I dropped some coin on a new GPS enables Minn Kota Riptide with Anchor lock.  I also got 3 new batteries and an onboard Minn Kota 3 bank charger so I don't have to charge each of the batteries one at a time!

I'll post pictures next week after the installation is complete  I'm pretty stoked to be able to hit anchor lock over any small rock piles and be able to fish it rather than get a cast or two before I drift right over it or have to try and power drift with the main motor while trying to fish.

That anchor lock is a game changer and will put more fish into the boat.
So much nicer to lock your position than drift and then drive back to the spot.
I was stoked when my buddy got his.
