Makos do not have serrated teeth or black spots on the underside tips of the pectoral fins per DFG ID traits.

Who's Matt? That sent the text saying it was mutilated.

I had hands on with that shark after it was killed. It was finned, gut and put in a truck. DFW came by and had a conversation with the angler. The one who hooked it wasn't the one who gaffed or stabbed it.

There was no popping or busting, we waited in the parking lot until they got there.

Not at all. They got talked into thinking it was a mako and the guy who was saying it tossed a gaff
