This is the quietest I have ever seen this or the other board this close to a batfight........no trash talk, no boasting........freaking eerie......
I know i've been silent (with more reasons than I can count) but nothing from Dave? Binh? Mike?

Not even a peep from the OC and LA guys, or even thedark horse in the frozen north!?!?!?!

Must be closer to the end of the world than I ever feared......

It's been a relatively crappy winter for fishing overall, mostly due to conditions. Not much to brag about, no county seems to be hooking up on bats either on purpose or incidentally. Plus, Chip is on a self imposed exile, so there's no one to kick the hornets nest known as Where's my beer.

Used to be alot of talk on scsf but that site went way down hill.

I went back after Dan's passing and it didn't have the vibe it used to have.  Then again, that was only over a two day scan of local posts.

This SNBF will be unique in the way that I can't remember the last bat ray caught or where the hell they all went.  My buddies who saw some were at a rocky shoreline, so no fishing there.  It looks like this year's winning bat ray will literally have to be pulled out of a hat!

Besides not having time to monitor the sign up boards, I decided to just let anyone in, like the time LA brought in a ringer at the last minute.  SD is the Jerry Rice or Bo Jackson from Tecmo Bowl!
