Much slower than the past week of fishing.  I feel like Mike hitting multiple days in a row!

Squatch and I met up to a borderline salad condition.  One side, terrible weeds.  Other side, totally clean.

I hook my first shark about an hour in... Fight him in 1/3 of the way and...  Hook Pulled.   UGH, that's like 11 that I lost just in the past few weeks!

The rods stayed quiet until 10 minutes before quitting time, when I get a familiar bounce.  I hook him and a definite shark.  I thought it was a nice leopard, until I got him in the wash and saw no spots.  Small Soupie?  It was probably 55" long, but the last wave of death rolled him and he pulled the hook and swam off!  DAMN -IT!!!!!  That's now 12 recently lost sharks!

I had one more bait and said "f@ck it, I'm using the last bait".  Only 1 minute into that cast and my rod does the Sevengill Wobble!  Fish on!!!

Thank goodness this one didn't fall off.
76" Female, Outgoing, Mackerel, 2'-4' surf.

I wanted to put another bait out, but I was whooped and time was up.  I left on a high note and got the last cast cure.

Thanks for reading!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

My turn to flirt with the purple ball of death.

Had some good casts, and some bad ones. Lost a rig to the monster, but it's been awhile so I guess I was due.

Damn, I need a 7 before they thin out.

Good job getting on them once again!

Making bait with my son at Oceanside tonight
Keep it tight

Hey at least you got some thing to pull on. Went out last night to find good conditions but no sharks. Not sure what is worse to have no bites or to get constantly picked clean by bugs.
